CGPSC Selection Process
The selection process for the CGPSC will be done in three stages. The details of the exam process are given below:
CGPSC Prelims Exam
The very first phase of the recruitment process is the preliminary round. The 400 mark CGPSC preliminary exam consists of two different papers, i.e., papers 1 and 2, with 200 marks each. A selection list for the main (written) examination shall be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in Paper 1.
CGPSC Mains Exam
Those applicants who clear the preliminary exam take the main exam. The Written Examination will consist of seven papers, which will total of 1400 marks
